Dear Maintainer, I installed Debian 13.1 on my Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15AMN8 via the official .iso. I opened Settings to remove an app's ability to play in the background and noticed that the apps section in Settings shows no apps. This is true for those installed from the Debian repository and Flatpak. I tried closing and opening Settings, installing new apps, both .deb and Flatpak, and updating and upgrading the system to no avail. I assume this is not working as intended as apps showed up in this section previously.
Control: retitle -1 gnome-control-center: Apps section of Settings not showing .deb or Flatpak-installed apps
Control: reassign -1 gnome-control-center 1:48.4-1~deb13u1
reassigning accordingly.

It seems that malcontent needs to be installed for GNOME Settings to display apps properly. I propose we make malcontent (not malcontent-gui) a dependency of gnome-control- center.
