* What led up to the situation?

Unable to suspend or shutdown my computer when using linux-image-6.16.5+deb14-amd64. Suspend and shutdown work correctly if I boot using linux-image-6.12.38+deb13-amd64. The issue was also present with linux-image-6.16.3+deb14-amd64, so the issue may have started with that package.

* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?

Suspend and shutdown work correctly if I boot using linux-image-6.12.38+deb13-amd64.

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
Initiating suspend, it sends me to the lockscreen without suspending, trying to login and suspending a second time causes the monitors to turn off, the pc does not suspend and cannot be awoken from whatever this state is

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or

manually power off the computer and turn on again
   * What was the outcome of this action?

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
Normal suspend, not normal happened

Hi Lukas,

Can you please fill a separate bug report with your problem, they are
likely not related so we can keep those separate.
