Hi Release Team, we would like to request a transition for Qt 6.9.2 which is currently available in experimental. We have the usual ABI changes for the private headers and one binary package (qml6-module-qtquick-nativestyle) has been removed. The only reverse dependency of qml6-module-qtquick-nativestyle (shotcut) has already removed the dependency. I have not done any rebuilds yet, but if you create the transition page, it'll me which packages need to be rebuild and crucially in which order. Once I've done those rebuilds, I'll get back to you. Ben file: title = "Qt 6.9.2"; is_affected = .depends ~ /qt6-.*-private-abi \(= 6\.8\.2\)/ | .depends ~ /qt6-.*-private-abi \(= 6\.9\.2\)/; is_good = .depends ~ /qt6-.*-private-abi \(= 6\.9\.2\)/; is_bad = .depends ~ /qt6-.*-private-abi \(= 6\.8\.2\)/; Thank you very much.
Hi, Added, it will appear in a couple of hours on the transition page. Cheers, Emilio

But the packages are maintained in our team and we can fix them easily once Qt 6.9 hits unstable. * pyside6: The version in unstable fails to build, but the version in experimental is ready for Qt 6.9 and will need to be uploaded once Qt 6.9 is in unstable. * qtcreator: Fails to build, but a patch is available upstream. Bug filed at https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1115520. * itinerary: 1 unit test is failing. Bug filed at https:// bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1115743. * gammaray: 1 unit test is failing, but I suspect it could be my setup as upstream is explicitly supporting Qt 6.9 and the failure is about translations/locales.
Control: tags -1 confirmed Go ahead. Cheers, Emilio
