Hi Holger,

To achieve more consistency in the archive. There are now ~160 packages
left that still use 1.0. I do not think it helps new contributors to
have two format versions that they have to learn.

You will probably know that there was a mass bug filing about this years
ago, which missed your package.

Thanks,
Bastian

thanks

is it enough to change debian/source/format or are there other changes needed?

I am including a debdiff with the necessary changes.

If you do not want to keep debian/patches around you can also go with
"single-debian-patch" in debian/source/options as given in #921461's
debdiff.

Bastian, please stop changing the moreinfo tag, thanks.

thank you! much appreciated. however, why does it touch debian/patches?

uh, no, thanks. I definitly want several patch files, a single debian patch
file sounds madness to me.

The debdiff touches debian/patches because the formerly applied patches
are added as quilt patches.
