The files included in your upload are completely different from the -1
revision. This looks very fishy. Also, the hyannataraj/libtcod repo is
not publically accessible. Please keep the repo in the debian namespace.

Ah. I've missed the idea that I can and even should use
https://salsa.debian.org/debian/libtcod/
for package development. And debian/libtcod have been slightly changed by
Bastian Germann while importing from dhyannataraj/libtcod

I'e put everything in sync with debian/libtcod. Can we try again?

Can you please explain how you generate the orig tarball?
The right way to do it is just run `origtargz` befor you run any gbp
command because that prevents gbp from generating it on its own.

The first of origtargz's strategies (pristine-tar) would have succeeded
on libtcod.

Instead of libtcod_1.24.0+dfsg.orig.tar.xz which is already in the
archive you have uploaded libtcod_1.24.0+dfsg.orig.tar.gz which contains
different content.

I have generated a source pkg from git and have uploaded that.

That is the place where I did not figure out how to do it right. I just take
actual release archive from upstream's github.

Thank you, that's the step I've missed. I tried to create an upload using
`origtargz`.

https://mentors.debian.net/package/libtcod/

Does it provide orig file you expected? If it does, thet I'll add `origtargz`
to my cheatsheet and will use it from now on.

(The upload is just a test, I will delete it as soon as you check it)
