Dear Maintainer,

Synaptic Package Manager no longer displays any screenshots at all.
This has been a problem for the past 4 weeks now.
It seems that other Debian and Ubuntu users are also having this problem. From
what I was reading on the forums and on Launchpad.
The screenshot feature was working a few weeks ago but no longer works no.
Yet when I go onto the Debian Screenshots website (from which the screenshots
are coming from.) The screenshots are all displayed, but won't display at all in
Synaptic.

Please can you find out what is causing this problem and try to fix this bug.
Ubuntu users are also having this problem.
I can also confirm when testing Synaptic on Linux Mint and on Ubuntu that the
screnshot feature is not working on there either.
So it is a bug.

Thank you for your reply. No it still has not been fixed because the
screenshot feature in Synaptic Package Manager still is not working.
I did read on another post that The Debian Screenshots Website where the
screenshots are taken from is using https and Synaptic is still using http.
That is the problem why the screenshots no longer show up in Synaptic.
According to this post here. As Ubuntu is also having the same problem:
