Dear maintainer,

I see that the package devscripts (version 2.25.21) suggests
bls-standalone which is not in unstable.

This can be seen in https://packages.debian.org/unstable/devscripts .
Search for "Package not available".

The missing package used to be in Debian but they were removed some time
ago:

Should it be dropped or changed?

Thank you,

hi Carles,

thanks for your bug report.
[...]

sadly there seems to be no information whatsoever why the package was
removed?

I found out that it actually (still?) exists in debports (which I guess
is a corner case that a package is dropped from main and exist in
debports?):

https://packages.debian.org/sid/bls-standalone (for ia64 and riscv64)

I'll try to find out more and report in the bug.

removal ticket earlier? Well...)

In short: totally stale and our of date; no longer needed at local test
for bls; and for local tests has no advantages over blhc (It's
architecture is optimizes towards being able to scan the whole build log archive
cheaply).
