Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
I installed trixie 13.1 on a i915-system, with lightdm as display-manager and xfce4 as desktop manager.
I had several severe errors, mostly after a screen-locker was activated.
The first severe error was: Login to system (vsa lightdm-greeter) was not possible.
After de-installation of light-locker and lxlock login was possible.
The second severe error was:
When screen-locker is activated (after 10 minutes idletime) login is possible, but open apps on my desktop/GUI disappeared.
I saw:

I do not know how to disable locking of system.
I tried:
a: gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.lockdown disable-lock-screen true
b: dconf-editor ... de-activation of screensaver
c: /etc/X11/Xsession.d/20x11-common_process-args - change as suggested in bug-report 1094494
After 10 minutes without activity on desktop system is locked and all active GUI-applications were killed.
Fallback to bookworm versions of lightdm and lightdm-gtk-greeter did not help.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
I expect a system-behaviour (xorg, lightdm, lightdm-gtk-greeter) as known from bookworm.
