As we see on

The w3m package needs a more active maintainer.

Hi!

I have a feeling that this issue does not fit WNPP because it does not
fit any of the six types of WNPP issues…

ITA — This is an "Intent To Adopt". It indicates that the bug
submitter or bug owner intends to become the package maintainer
of an orphaned package or package given up for adoption.

ITP — This is an "Intent To Package".

O — The package has been "Orphaned". It needs a new maintainer as
         soon as possible.

RFA — This is a "Request for Adoption". Due to lack of time,
resources, interest or something similar, the current maintainer
is asking for someone else to maintain this package.

RFH — This is a "Request For Help". The current maintainer wants to
continue to maintain this package, but they need some help to do
this, because their time is limited or the package is quite big
         and needs several maintainers.

RFP — This is a "Request For Package". Someone has found an
interesting piece of software and would like someone else to
         maintain it for Debian.

…an should therefore potentially be escalated elsewhere to not just
fall through the cracks. Any ideas?

PS: Descriptions are extracted from https://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/ .
