 What led up to the situation? Unknown

What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
Installed FreeBSD and then tried to install XFCE Desktop.
What was the outcome of this action? The mouse isn't being recognized in the
FreeBSD VM the other 3 work just fine.
What outcome did you expect instead? To be able to use the mouse in the GUI
