Dear Maintainer,
Evince hangs (consuming 100% of a single core) after pressing CTRL-P on any pdf. No dialog appears.

My desktop manager is Cinnamon (version 6.4.13-1), perhaps this is relavant. Printing is fine in other GTK applications (e.g., thunderbird/firefox).

I tried downgrading evince to the trixie version (48.1-3) and the problem persists.

Let me now how can I help debugging the situation.

I am attaching the result of invoking:
strace evince xxx.pdf &> evince-strace.txt

After pressing CTRL-P I killed the (hung) process.

GTK 3 and 4 in testing/unstable haven't changed recently, so I suspect
this is a libcups regression, probably the same one as
#1121751/#1121895/#1121660 (recently fixed in unstable by a new cups
upload). Please try with libcups2t64/2.4.16-1 when it becomes available
on your mirror.

The same is true for the bugs reported against papers and evince.

This is consistent with it being a libcups regression.
