Currently `trixie-backports` contains the kernel v6.17.8 and `nvidia-graphics- drivers_550.163.01-4~bpo13+1`, so Nvidia proprietary kernel modules compile correctly. However version `550.163.01-4` of `nvidia-open-gpu-kernel-modules` was not backported, so when users issue `apt-get -t trixie-backports install nvidia-open-kernel-dkms nvidia-driver firmware-misc-nonfree` version `550.163.01-2` is pulled, that fails to compile on kernels 6.17.x. If `unstable` repos are also enabled, then `apt-get install -t trixie-backports nvidia-open-kernel-dkms/unstable nvidia-driver firmware-misc-nonfree` works fine.
Control: tag -1 pending Andreas PS: I usually only do the initial backport of a driver package to a new stable release after someone specifically asked for it, i.e. there is a potential user for that backport. Further updates might come semi-automatically, but don't hesitate to ask it I missed it.
Many thanks for the quick resolution! :) I've allowed myself to CC you on another wishlist bug related to Nvidia drivers. Thank you so much again!
This is now live and kicking, so closing this bug :) Again, many thanks for fixing this so quickly!
