usbmuxd does not yet have network support, so someone re-implemented it
as usbmuxd2 and added network support, and then a fork of it added
support for connecting directly via IP instead of indirectly via mDNS.

Hi Paul, thanks for the bug report. Not sure where to stand on this, I'll have
to read a bit on usbmuxd2 but I'm not really comfortable having twice the
codebase in the archive, to be honest. I'm not sure why the author forked
instead of proposing a PR but maybe there are issue with usbmuxd upstream
maintenance as well.

Do you have any plan or it's really just an RFP for someone to take?
