At startup, Lightdm logs the subject to syslog.  I suppose this is the same problem as #1087449

Hello, yes it's likely the same thing.

I guess UTMP support should be disabled in LightDM. I guess it's more of an
upstream task (there's no configure switch for example) but I'm unsure how
maintenance there is these days, but I'll check.
