trying to install updates through Discover's updates tab

see above. Also tried a 'apt' update but it didn't resolve the issue when
complete.

A package versioned 25.2.8-2~mx25ahs or 25.3.3-1~mx25ahs is not from
Debian, but instead from some other source (possibly MX Linux).

Debian only supports Debian's own packages. If you are using packages
from some other source, please contact that other source's support
channels.
