Details:
System boots normally with linux-image-6.1.0-41-amd64.
System freezes during normal boot with linux-image-6.12.57+deb13-amd64, after
initramfs handoff.
Booting the same kernel in recovery mode succeeds.

Hardware:

Intel HD Graphics 530 (Skylake, i915)

NVIDIA GTX 950M (GM107M, Optimus)

Notes:
Likely related to i915 KMS or power management changes between 6.1 and 6.12.
Recovery mode bypasses the failure.

Distribution:
Linux Mint Debian Edition (Debian base, equivalent to Debian 13 kernel)
