Dear Maintainer,

Since the beginning of 2026, messages sent via Kmail (Kontact) no longer appear
in the Sent Items folder.

The messages are indeed sent and received, but saving them seems to be
malfunctioning. No error messages appear in the logs.
I don't know where to look to fix this problem. I haven't found any help in the
KDE mailing list, which is why I reported this bug.

Solved :
The KMail configuration settings for the Sent Items folder and other folders
like Drafts and Templates were incorrectly configured.

This misconfiguration appears to date back to early December 2024. I don't know
the cause, as I've never configured these settings since I started using KMail
in early 2007.

Thanks for the followup.  I have also noticed that some of the recent updates
(especially if upgrading daily in testing when not all the new packages have
migrated) have caused these setting to be altered or reset.
