Hi,

the current src:libqt5qxlsx is packaged from dantti's fork, which has
not seen changes for more than 3 years. In the meanwhile, the original
repository is still being developed, and new releases are regularly made
available:

Hence, please switch back to QtExcel, and provide a new upstream release
in Debian. Even better, please provide a Qt 6 version too, so I can
switch labplot to use a system version of QXlsx rather than its bundled
copy.

I see this source is used by stellarium, which is still using Qt 5.
In this case, since a roundtrip to NEW is needed because either the
SONAME bump of a new version or the switch to Qt 6, maybe provide a new
src:qxlsx that builds only for Qt 6.

Thanks,

That's great to know, thanks!

I'm actually packaging stellarium for Qt6 and now I need QXlsx as its dependency.

So my plan will now would be to introduce libqt6qxlsx entirely from QtExcel/QXlsx
and given that stellarium seems to be the only one using the 5 version, I'd leave it
be and likely eventually drop entirely.

Does it make sense to you, Pino? That's probably what you implied just below anyway :).

Cheers,
Tomasz
