Dear Maintainer,
I just acquired a used Thinkpad T14 and installed Debian Trixie on it. The
touchpad does not work properly, the mouse does not always move smoothly, and
tap-to-click and multi-touch (i.e. 2-finger tap -> right-click) frequently stop
working.
I have also tested the latest Fedora release as well as Debian Bookworm, and
this issue is also present on those systems with Cinnamon and Xorg / libinput.
When booting Windows 11 on this laptop the touchpad functions without issues.
As a temporary workaround I am booting with this kernel command line option:
psmouse.synaptics_intertouch=0
Please let me know if you need more information.
