Description : pgvector support for Python

This package provides the Python client-side support for pgvector,
an open-source vector similarity search extension for PostgreSQL.
 .
It allows developers to work with vectors in Python using popular
libraries and ORMs like SQLAlchemy, Django, and Peewee, and includes
 support for NumPy arrays.
 .
I intend to package this with the Debian Python Team.

Hello,

as of now the packaging of python-pgvector is on hold.
Reason for this is a test dependency with SQLModel which is relevant to ensure
the integrity of the package.

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1123356

Once the bug is resolved, I'll finalise the packaging.

Best,

After careful consideration I decided to exclude test_sqlmodel.py until a
newer version of python-sqlmodel is in the archive.

I will remove the link between the two bugs.
