Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

While browsing through packages on the tracker we found that bowtie2, which is one of the more stable packages, had an update.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

We were wondering about how long that update may be already out?

   * What was the outcome of this action?

There was nothing what we could do on tracker.debian.org to learn about when this new version was released.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

We wished that tracker.debian.org would have told us about how long the update is already due. This information would be stated next to the new version that is.
