Hello,

I worked on upgrading psutil to 7.2.2, and I have made either:
- Merge requests at:
https://salsa.debian.org/morph/python-psutil/-/merge_requests/?sort=created_date&state=opened&author_username=gboutry&first_page_size=20
- uploaded to mentors.

I can also attach a patch directly if it is preferred.

Please let me know if I can do anything to help.

Important:
As part of this patch, I have dropped the test_memleaks.py from the
testsuite, because they require psleak (a new library made by the same
author) to run. But there's kind of a chicken and egg situation between
these 2 dependencies. I plan to, once this is uploaded, fast follow with a
new package python-psutil (ITP#1128991), that will allow to enable back
these tests.

Thank you,

if your intention was to work on the upgrade, you should have let it
be known, as i'm afraid you may have wasted effort here: i dont see
much benefit in external contributions for new upstream releases, it's
just easier for me to take care of it.
