If invoked without arguments, usbreset prints a usage message that suggests
identifying a USB device as PPPP:VVVV and not VVVV:PPPP. That caused a moment
of confusion here!

Usage:
usbreset PPPP:VVVV - reset by product and vendor id
usbreset BBB/DDD - reset by bus and device number
usbreset "Product" - reset by product name

Hi,

This bug got fixed in version 1:018-1, and thus in trixie and forky,
marking the bug has such. I'll see if I can get this fixed in the next
bookworm point release.

Aurelien
