Hi Jonas,

IMHO it makes sense to maintain these two packages in Python
team. I'd happily help with the migration.

Kind regards
    Andreas.

Hi Andreas,

It's not quite clear from me what's needed for this. I have no objections
anyway, but you might want to coordinate with debacle / Martin, too (+cc'd).

kind regards,
Jonas

The packages should be in

   salsa.d.o/python-team/packages/PACKAGENAME

and Vcs fields are pointing to this (I'm fine with just doing this
for you as an example.

Moreover you set

   Maintainer: Debian Python Team <team+python@tracker.debian.org>

while you and Martin are Uploaders.

If you do not agree please set correct Vcs fields as explained in
the bug reports.

Kind regards
    Andreas.

Ping?

The thing is if I went to fix this bug its quite a burden for you and me
if I sent a patch to the BTS and you import it into your private
repository on Salsa later.

Kind regards
   Andreas.

Hi!

I cannot upload, so we'll have to wait for debacle to show up anyway to update
the Vcs and maintainer metadata fields. I'm happy to transfer the repositories
at any time, but I think to do that, I need +w on the target namespace.

I pinged debacle out-of-band.

kind regards,
Jonas

I can upload / sponsor your upload but my personal policy is that I do not
upload packages where I can't push to the according repository.

I suggested to use team maintenance to *not* depend from a single
maintainer who might be busy with other things.

Sure. You can become a member by asking for membership in the team
(like for instance here[1]).

Kind regards
