Dear Maintainer,

Zutty has hard-coded some kind of unique and novel system for finding font files, but the code appears to be out of date. Most bitmap fonts witched to .otb years and years ago, but because the file extensions are inexplicably hard-coded into Zutty, you can't use those. For example, install fonts-terminus-otb, and try to use it with Zutty. You can't.

Since the switch to .otb fonts, I expect that packages with OTF / TTF support (which includes Zutty) would be able to use them.

Hi Dietrich,

First: I'm not a font expert, but I'd like to understand the problem: you
mean Zutty as-is can actually use otb fonts but the problem is that is unable
to found them because of the file names?

Or does it really need to implement support for these obt fonts format?

regards,

P.S.: Please keep bug address on replies.
