Dear Maintainer,

Normally, pressing Esc after entering the password (without pressing Enter)
erases the password field before turning the screen off. However, in my
two-monitor setup, this is sometimes not the case.

I use two identical monitors. The right one is primary and is connected
by HDMI. The left one is connected by VGA.

When the cursor is on the right screen, and I lock the desktop, and then
start typing the password, the issue occurs -- the content of the password
field is retained after I press Esc.

This does *not* happen if I move the mouse after locking, or if the
cursor isn't located on the right screen when I lock the desktop. This
also doesn't happen when I press some non-letter keys, e.g. Ctrl.

Interestingly, when the bug occurs, the password field isn't highlighted
in blue, as if it wasn't in focus. Any of the aforementioned actions that
prevent this bug also cause the field to become highlighted in blue
(come into focus?).

It is possible that this bug is caused by plasma-desktop-data, because that
package contains some lockscreen-related code in the following directory:
/usr/share/plasma/shells/org.kde.plasma.desktop/contents/lockscreen/
