Dear Maintainer, please see https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/work_items/15288 before migrating 26.0.5 into testing. Thank you
Setting severity to serious as this is going to cause serious issues on apple silicon platforms, but the maintainer should feel free to downgrade if they have a different opinion. Cheers!
I can see that this was fixed upstream and backported to the 26.0 branch yesterday.
The commit https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/merge_requests/41040/diffs?commit_id=98a97cb4136751080979a4ae2dacc69869099b75 that fixes the upstream bug https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/work_items/15288 is in the mesa 26.0.6-1 source. So, shouldn't this bug be closed in mesa 26.0.6-1?
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/commit/64f8339209087af360cee91d5f132e44bce204fe So yes, it could've been closed. Maybe even better if the reporter confirms the issue has been fixed and closes the bug with the appropriate version then.
