Description : easy to use programming environment for ages 8 and up

Scratch is an easy, interactive, collaborative programming environment
designed for creation of interactive stories, animations, games, music,
and art -- and sharing these on the web. Scratch is designed to help
young people (ages 8 and up) develop 21st century learning skills. As
they create Scratch projects, young people learn important mathematical
and computational ideas, while also gaining a deeper understanding of
the process of design.

I'm filing this on behalf of a user who posted to debian-user[1].
Scratch was in the archive up to bookworm, but was dropped from
trixie due to an RC bug in a pre-depends (squeak-vm) that has now
been (apparently) resolved.

I'm CCing Miri, the prior maintainer, FYI: but please do not treat this
as a demand or an obligation to pick it back up!

I've set the metadata above to match the older package, mostly, although
upstream seem to have a new major version, new license, and possibly new
implementation (although I haven't looked too closely)

Hello,

I've opened https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1006298 to
get TurboWarp.

Eventually it is the better choice?

I might be wrong...but the only reason why i suggested this RFP is because
Squeak VM,the one the packaged relied on had its bug fixed,so it needed to
be brought back...

3.0 is a different version,and isn't even on Linux...
