Just mentioning whatever I mentioned on mentors for future reference.

Note that I cannot sponsor your upload, this is just a simple review.

Since this is a NEW package. You're supposed to close the ITP bug in d/changelog.

Please remove all other changelog entries and add the following line only:

* Initial Release (Closes:#bugnumber)

Also the debian version will be 1.2.1-1. the trailing "-1" will only be incremented if your package
is already in debian and you're pushing a new update to the packaging

Remove the moreinfo tag after making the changes. I hope you find a
sponsor soon

Hi Aryan,

Thanks for the review. I have already updated the package to version
1.2.1-1 and included the ITP closure (Closes: #1134580) in
debian/changelog. I've also uploaded the new version to mentors.debian.net.

I'm removing the moreinfo tag now.

Regards, Zukaritasu

Control: tags -1 +moreinfo
ITP bug not the RFS bug in d/changelog.

The bug you're supposed to close is:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1134669

Once that's done, remove the moreinfo tag.

You should consider hosting the packaging on https://salsa.debian.org.
This isn't a requirement or a mandatory thing but it helps any potential
sponsors make final modifications before uploading and other maintainers
can help you if you have any trouble with the package. The decision is
upto you.

You should also consider asking the Multimedia Team for sponsorship in
their mailing list [1] or you could ask it in their IRC channel on OFTC:
#debian-multimedia

Hi Aryan,

Thanks for the review and the guidance. It was a misunderstanding on
my part regarding the bug numbers.

I have updated the package to version 1.2.1-1 and corrected the
debian/changelog to properly close the ITP bug #1134669. The new
version is already available on mentors.debian.net.

I will also follow your advice to host the packaging repository on
Salsa and reach out to the Debian Multimedia team to find a sponsor.

Regards,
Zukaritasu
