Hi!

When I installed Debian 13.4 on my laptop using the Calamares installer from the KDE live image I almost got stuck with "Attempting to decrypt master key..." if I enable disk encryption. It takes about a minute to boot. But even after that, the system won't boot but just shows me a GRUB shell ("grub> _").

Where did you download the image from? I assume https://get.debian.org/images/release/current-live/amd64/iso-hybrid/debian-live-13.4.0-amd64-kde.iso

What was on the hard disk before you ran Calamares? Did some partitions already exist?

You write: 'almost got stuck', so you are not getting stuck? Then what is the actual issue you are reporting? (This is just me having trouble reading English)

Well, eventually I got stuck—it stopped at the GRUB shell ("grub> _"), so the "almost" was not correct. What I actually meant was that it almost already got stuck at  "Attempting to decrypt master key..." which took way too long.

Yes, on the disk were Windows 11 installed previously. However, I selected the full disk encryption—so all got purged, not way that there were any conflicts. The laptop also has only one SSD, it's a Framework 12. The other settings; nothing unusualy, just resume, resume, resume.
