Hi,

I would like to request that support for the Intel BE200 Wi-Fi 7 chip be
enabled in the standard Debian 13 kernel.

Currently, this hardware is not detected by the Debian 13 kernel (which is
based on Linux 6.12). This prevents the use of any Wi-Fi functionality on
this modern card. However, support for this chip was introduced in the
upstream Linux 6.18 kernel.

Justification:
Enabling this support would allow users with modern Wi-Fi 7 hardware, such
as the Fenvi BE200 card, to use their hardware natively in Debian 13
without needing to compile custom kernels. This would significantly improve
user experience and hardware compatibility for the distribution.

Additional Information:
* The hardware is identified via lspci -nn as "Intel Corporation Device
272b [8086:272b]".
* I have personally tested compiling the upstream 6.18 kernel with the
necessary configuration options enabled (and appropriate firmware
installed), and the Wi-Fi functionality worked correctly.
* The relevant upstream kernel configuration options appear to be:
CONFIG_IWLWIFI, CONFIG_IWLMVM, CONFIG_BT_INTEL, and CONFIG_BT_HCIUART_INTEL.

Hi,

All the relevant configuratin options are/should be enabled. Please
list as well which firmwre packages you have installed on the system
and can you please provide a full kernel log to see what is going on.
