Please do not remove symbols files without any reason.

You have certainly not updated Debian Policy but maybe the
Standards-Version that refers to the Policy version.

New container -> New maintainer. Please consider making this a QA upload
instead of adopting. I am at least not going to sponsor an adoption with
such few changes.
