Hi Markus, I've made recent progress wit dh-cruft (It could almost be called dh-games). I'm a doing an audit of the files under /var/games with "apt-file search /var/games" and stumbled on the zangband data files. Are those meant to be modified ? Any way, could those be shipped in /usr/share/games/zangband/ and only be copied to /var/games/zangband/ at install time by a .postinst script ? The cleansing could be delegated to dh-cruft. I can provide a patch on request. Greetings Alexandre

I haven't played it in quite a while. I'm also out-of-sync when it comes to dh-cruft at the moment and what you try to achieve with it. Please go ahead with a patch if you want to improve something. Maybe zangband should behave like angband in main in this regard? Cheers, Markus
Hi Alexandre, as per bug #1141455 I've created a Git repository at https://salsa.debian.org/games-team/zangband/ While Markus has not yet confirmed that he is OK with team maintenance I think for providing patches this place might be quite convenient anyway. Kind regards Andreas.
