#1135956 libreoffice: Installing a nogui app results in a nonfunctional LibreOffice launcher

sudo apt install libreoffice-writer-nogui

There is now a LibreOffice launcher in the GNOME Activities Overview
(or similar app menu for other desktops). This is because
libreoffice-common includes libreoffice-startcenter.desktop . The
launcher doesn't work in this case.

I suggest moving libreoffice-startcenter to a different binary package
that is only installed when the gui apps are installed, perhaps a new
pckage named something like libreoffice-common-gui. You could move
other things there too like the app & mimetype icons; maybe also the
gallery, templates, and wizards.

Thank you,
Jeremy Bícha

Indeed.

Hmm. Will think about it, but definitely not for 26.2 anymore, too invasive imho.

(26.8 will need NEW anyway.)

Or simply libreoffice-core. (not -core-nogui)
