The version of kbdd currently packaged in Debian is about 10 years old,
and there have been no new upstream releases since then. The upstream
maintainer reported in https://github.com/qnikst/kbdd/issues/52 that
they no longer use it and are looking for new maintainers.

If this package is going to have a long-term future, it will need
someone who can act as a new upstream maintainer.
