Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "volvex":

 * Package name     : volvex
   Version          : 1.0.0-4
   Upstream contact : Roberto Chichiarelli <roberto.chichiarelli@gmail.com>
 * URL              : https://github.com/Rob1c/volvex
 * License          : GPL-3.0-only
 * Vcs              : https://github.com/Rob1c/volvex
   Section          : utils

Volvex is a PySide6 graphical frontend for KryoFlux dtc and mimage.
It allows dumping and writing floppy disk images through a clean
interface, without touching the command line, with support for all
dtc image types, track range selection, preset save/load, and
integrated real-time terminal output.

This is an ITP package. The ITP bug is #1137388.

The source builds the following binary packages:

  volvex - KryoFlux dtc GUI frontend

Alternatively, you can download the package with 'dget':

  dget -x
https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/v/volvex/volvex_1.0.0-4.dsc

Changes since the initial packaging:

   * Added debian/source/format (3.0 quilt)
   * Bumped Standards-Version to 4.7.3
   * Added Homepage, Vcs-Git, Vcs-Browser to debian/control
   * Added Upstream-Contact to debian/copyright

Hello,

Thank you for your work on this. I have a few notes:
 - Please consolidate all changelog entries into one for "Initial release," adding the ITP bug as (Closes: #1137388).
 - Please add a watch file.
 - Please try to use install files instead of overriding in rules.
 - Please add an upstream metadata file.
 - In the copyright file, the GPL 3 entry needs to be more complete. You can remove the "-only" suffix, it's implied. See codesearch.debian.net for more examples.
 - Please upgrade Standards-Version to 4.7.4, dropping Priority: optional and Rules-Requires-Root: no.
 - Please consider upgrading to debhelper-compat 14.
 - Please consider using a tool like wrap-and-sort.
 - Would you consider creating an account on salsa.debian.org and tracking your packaging there in a separate repository? This makes things cleaner to review going forward.

Please remove the moreinfo tag once it's ready for another review. Feel free to CC me, if I'm available I can take another look.

Best regards,
Simon Quigley
