Given issues such as #1138899, would it not be useful to have
CONFIG_IWLWIFI_DEBUG enabled in the kernel configuration?

I think connecting to this network on 5 GHz is even more problematic.

The issue reported here is actually occurring on the 2.4 GHz network,
so my apologies. Please assume that everything reported in this thread
refers to the 2.4 GHz network.
