Hi,

given that newer coreutils provides some features we really shoudn't
miss having in Debian, given that these two bugs are open since quite
some while without answer from Michael, and that contacting Michael
didn't result in any success either on other packages for a long time to
(#1142760), I've uploaded 9.12-0.1 to delayed 10 targetting experimental.

If there's no other upload before the 10 days pass, and 9.12-0.1 builds
fine on all architectures in experimental, I would do a second upload to
unstable afterwards.

The NMU-diff is attached.

Regards,
Daniel

rng-tools5 was effectively hijacked years ago and I made it clear at the
time I wasn't going to clean up the mess.

I will take care of the new coreutils package as a regular upload.

Hi Michael,

can be - but it would have been nice if you said that in #1142760 so the
people actually cleaning it up would know about that, there was ample
chance to do so.

thanks, appreciated.

Daniel
