Dear Maintainer,

I use emacs as $EDITOR, and ran tripwire on my system this
morning. When tripwire finished, emacs came up with a "definition is
void" error.

I'd had a similar problem yesterday (see bug #1139671), so I knew
what to look for. I found an empty "with-editor.elc" file in
/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/elpa/with-editor-3.5.1, so I renamed it to
".bad", and that fixed the problem.

There doesn't appear to be a file at
/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/elpa/Install.log.gz, but there is one at
/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/elpa/with-editor-3.5.1/Install.log.gz.
Unforunately, it's empty.

The maintainer of emacsen-common (which has a similar problem) suggests
that I try a reinstall and see if that shows any errors. I'll do the
same with this one,
