When upgrading Debian system to latest version (Trixie), with the backported kernel, we can notice a highly unusual amount of log lines stating "icmp: detected local route for xx" are present inside of dmesg. This seem to be a similar issue to the one happening in an other bug report, but which was linked to a much older kernel version (#1135514), and is now considered resolved. The problem also happens when running Debian Bookworm, and the latest backported kernel versions. This is true for at least the version "6.12.85+deb12-amd64" but is perhaps not limited to it. renaud
Hi, Can you please followup to this bug including the information collected by reportbug's bugscript? In particular we will need some more details on how your setup look at and steps triggering the issue. Does the above imply that you only are reproducing the issue with the bpo variants in each suite? I assume not, but the information was not entirely clear to me. Regards, Salvatore
Hi, I'm closing this issue now. In case you still are able to reproduce please provide the above information and reopen this bug accordingly. Regards, Salvatore
