Dear Maintainer,
I am not sure about other terminals, but I have run into a reproducible
problem in foot 1.27.0-1 from debian after using mutt.

Steps to reproduce:
* Open foot
* Word navigation using alt-f and alt-b is usable within the bash shell
* Open mutt
* Quit mutt
* alt-f and alt-b are no longer usable. These commands now insert æ and â
  characters.

It seems that mutt is altering some terminal tty state - I'm not sure of
the details. This bug can be worked around by using `reset`.
