Dear Maintainer, the man page of mmdebstrap talks about the --hook-directory parameter, but the examples uses --hook-dir. This is confusing. Do both variant work?
Hi, Quoting Benjamin Drung (2026-06-26 10:32:25) from the man page: The last part means that --hook-d would also work and so would --ho but --h would be ambiguous because there is --help. I think this detail is easy to miss and that the documentation of --hook-directory could mention --hook-dir as an alternative popular abbreviation. Thanks! cheers, josch
Feel free to close this bug. Idea: After "Long options require a double dash and may be abbreviated to uniqueness." add --hook-dir as example for abbreviation to --hook- directory.
