Hi Christian,

Just a wishlist item. Not sure how the ROCM architecture list was
determined. I've got this AI MAX+ 395 CPU so hopefully I can test
the package with my new hardware soon!

Hi Mo,

This is because in pkg-rocm-tools, gfx1151 still is only activated in
experimental. As soon as this is updated in unstable, ggml should just
need a binNMU or a new version, whichever comes first..

IIRC there are still some open questions on which architectures to
support; Cory suggested in [1] that all might be too many for some
libraries.

So we need a strategy on how to proceed.

However, there has been some really great work in sync'ing 7.2 from
Ubuntu to Debian, which seems to be mostly complete?

I'll raise this in a new thread.

Best,
Christian

Hi Christian,

Thanks! Actually I tried to build ggml locally for gfx1151
with pkg.ggml.minhip profile. It works pretty well!
