Description:
The system experiences random kernel panics while using the MediaTek MT7921 PCIe wireless adapter.
Observed behavior:
* Panic results in a frozen screen.
* Caps Lock LED blinks continuously.
* Machine requires a hard power cycle.
* Panic QR code generated by the kernel was decoded.
* Disabling the MT7921 adapter in BIOS completely prevents the crashes.
* Re-enabling the adapter causes crashes to return.
* Firmware loads successfully during boot.
* ASPM has already been disabled using pcie_aspm=off.
* Issue reproduced on multiple kernels, including 6.12.x and 7.0.12.
Troubleshooting already performed:
* Latest firmware-mediatek installed.
* Latest BIOS installed (FX706HF.312).
* memtester completed successfully.
* CPU and SSD stress tests completed successfully.
* NVMe stress completed successfully.
* NVIDIA driver shows no Xid errors.
* Thermal stress does not immediately reproduce the panic.
* MT7921 firmware loads successfully before failures.
