In trixie, running evince on the attached file produced an assertion printout into the console:

(evince:418432): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 21:59:37.840: gtk_css_node_insert_after: assertion 'previous_sibling == NULL || previous_sibling->parent == parent' failed

A failing assertion is bad. Unfortunately, this was not reproducible immediately. So this bug report it a catch for more information from me or anyone else in the future.
