More for everyone else's benefit than the maintainers, but last commit was on
28 September 2020. Issues and PR has also gone silent:

Per that post and others, there is some interest in forking and reviving the
project. Not sure whether Debian policy is to wait and see or proactively
remove unmaintained software.
