It seems like frr is the only reverse dependency of libyang that does not provide support for libyang5 yet. Upstream has added support in v10.7.0-rc1. I request this because I am interested in a library transition for libyang and this seems to be the blocker. If you want I can hand in an update as merge request or patch.
retitle 1142048 build with libyang 5 (experimental) thanks Hi Bastian, yes, I'm aware and want to get libyang 5 to sid at some point earlier than later. I've filled issues upstream and also talked with upstream about in May, however, frr (even 10.7~rc1) doesn't build yet with libyang 5. As far as I'm aware the reason for the hold out is that upstreams CI doesn't have libyang 5 yet. Regards, Daniel
