Dear Maintainer,
It's possible to cause KMyMoney to completely stop responding while
recording transactions. Here's the steps to reproduce.
(0) Open the Ledgers menu/section.
(1) Begin adding a new transaction to a ledger.
(2) Select the 'Amount' field.
(3) Ensure only the first digit is highlighted.
(4) Press the plus ('+') or minus ('-') character.
(5) The application freezes.
This can occur quite easily by accident. When selecting the 'Amount'
field, clicking twice can automatically highlight just the digits before
the period (which for 0.00 is the first digit). And pressing plus or
minus will usually open the calculator, which can be useful when
recording and examining transactions.
If both of these occur, then the whole application will freeze. The
user must then force quit KMyMoney, causing all unsaved transactions to
be lost. This can be very disruptive when recording transactions in
bulk.
Take care,
Seth McDonald.
