Hi,
listing contributions from debian.net is often a false positive,
because a lot of those services are offline concerning the ping
status.
On index.debian.net you see a lot of sevices are not pinable, but even
a pinable status does not mean the service is up and running. To it
seems that you only check if a service was registed for debian.net (in
DNS) but that is not an activity.
Ive already wrote an examples to the MIA team (see below). Another is
https://contributors.debian.org/contributor/skx/
Steve has only an entry for faces.d.net, which is offline.
The "service" of djpig on X-DISABLED-DSA-archive.d.net is online, but
is it a running service?
Either we need regualr reviews of index.debian.net or more accurate
infomration, or remove it from contributors.

Hi,
I was wondering if you know that information on
https://contributors.debian.org/source/debian.net%20service/ctype/service_maintainer/
is wrong and that may lead to some MIA people, that you do not be
aware of.
For e.g.
https://contributors.debian.org/contributor/djpig/
shows
Running a .debian.net service
but if you search for djpig on
https://index.debian.net/
the services of him are listed in red
Also connecting a service for e.g. connect to
https://packages.debian.net
fails completly.
Why does contributors.debian.org then list the service as
contributing a d.net service until July 2025?
So, this may a problem of contributors.debian.org but with wrong data,
the MIA team can also not do their work.
The other sources of djpig shows the last activity in 2016, so IMO he
is MIA.
