It seems that over the years I have taken over maintenance for
too many packages and I cannot really give all of them the care
that they deserve. Thus, I request an adopter for the bomstrip package.

The package description is:
Bomstrip is a very simple tool that removes BOM's (byte-order-marks)
from UTF-8 files. UTF-8 does not have byte-ordering issues, so there
is absolutely no need to have three bytes (the UTF-8-BOM) that do not
say anything about the byte-order (since there is nothing to say).

Hello Peter,

Are you still looking for an adopter for bomstrip? I'm interested in
adopting it and taking responsibility for its ongoing maintenance.

I'm currently learning the packaging and sponsorship process and this would
be my first package adoption.
If I prepare an adoption upload would you be available to review or sponsor
it or should I seek sponsorship through debian-mentors?

My Salsa username is mg.

Thanks,
Matt
